Peter Dickerson was born and raised in Sydney and the NSW Central Coast. He trained in visual arts at the Julian Ashton art school in The Rocks (Australia’s oldest continuous fine arts school).He has lived and worked in Singapore, New York and Paris and returned to live in Sydney in 2011. He primarily works in acrylic on canvas, in a variety of styles, sometimes incorporating other materials and found objects.
Peter has incorporated his observations of his environment into his works and has been influenced by his extensive travels and myriad experiences.
